EXPRESSIVE SPREADS
OBJECTIVE
The objective was to express the story using different typographic elements throughout nine spreads. My story was called ‘Andria' and focused on space, celestial bodies, astronomy, etc. The elements incorporated is based on my personal interpretation of space.

Final Thoughts
The first half of the pages incorporate a grid system- no elements of design are really too out of the ordinary; most have a consistent look. As the story develops and ideas of a ‘bamboo grove,’ ‘unchanging heaven,’ and a ‘toboggan slide,’ are included, the layout becomes more organic and freeflowing.
